It is high time that we all raise our collective voice and demand that the blasphemy law be repealed.
KARACHI: It is a crying shame that a country which is supposed to be built on Islamic principles has such a barbaric law in place. The founder of Pakistan promised us that we were free to go to our temples, churches, and mosques; but this is not Jinnah’s Pakistan, not by a long shot, and this society is certainly not the peaceful society of love and tolerance that the Holy Prophet (pbuh) would have wanted.
It is high time that we all raise our collective voice and demand that the blasphemy law be repealed.
