Where is the ‘Qaum-ki-beti’ brigade?

Letter November 20, 2010
Wait a minute… this daughter is a Christian and she is not in US custody, so problem solved.

LAHORE: With regard to the heated debate going on in this newspaper as well as in other sections of the media, I wonder where is the “Qaum-ki-beti” ghairat brigade now that another daughter of Pakistan has been put behind bars. Wait a minute… this daughter is a Christian and she is not in US custody, so problem solved.

It should be clear to all of us that this law is severely misused and people use it to settle scores. How come there is no blasphemy law in most Muslim countries? Are they less Muslim than us?
