It's time women started raising voices against harassment and it is duty of govt to take steps to stop the injustice
LAHORE: In our society, harassment of women is a major problem. Women are often harassed and physically tortured in our society in various ways on a daily basis. It is pathetic that in this male-dominated society, men actually think that it is their right to disrespect a woman, and to force her to do their bidding.
Women are made fun of, teased and assaulted. A lot of them are harassed or physically tortured at home over petty issues, like food not having been cooked well, clothes not having been washed properly, etc. It is time that women started raising their voices against these acts and it is the duty of our government to take serious steps to stop this injustice.
