Impact of metro bus

Letter October 29, 2014
It seems govt has failed to address issues such as traffic jams, environmental pollution resulting from this project

RAWALPINDI: The government has prioritised the Metro Bus project in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. This project covers the most important route that most residents of the twin cities usually use when travelling. It should be noted that after the completion of the Metro Bus project, thousands of local wagon drivers who use this route will lose their earnings as the public will have the option to use the metro buses.

There are many other factors that need to be taken into consideration by the government while it works on completing this project. It seems that it has failed to address issues such as traffic jams and environmental pollution which will result from this project.
