Welcome to the age of 3D

Letter October 24, 2014
Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy is currently working on a 3D animated movie. The film will be released in 2015.

KARACHI: After the huge success of Saving Face, a documentary made by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, it is time to buckle up for a new surprise. Saving Face was a documentary about acid attacks on women in Pakistan. The film followed plastic surgeon Mohammad Jawed, who travelled from Britain to Pakistan to perform reconstructive surgery on women who suffered from acid attacks. Proceeding further in her journey, Ms Obaid-Chinoy now has new plans for the Pakistani industry. She is currently working on a 3D animated movie. The film will be released in 2015. The title of the animated movie is Teen Bahadur. The film features three children who are fighting against evil forces. Having seen the trailer of the movie, I have found it to be amazing.

Ms Obaid-Chinoy has said that there is a lot of talent in Pakistan in the field of graphic designing and the performance of our animators are beyond expectations. The Pakistani film industry has finally made its way up the ladder to compete with industries all over the world. As far as Ms Obaid-Chinoy is concerned, she is once again going to make us all proud.
