BUDAPEST, HUNGARY: This is with reference to your report of November 12 by Zia Khan titled “RGST plan finds no takers”. I am holding my breath on what the MQM actually does when the times comes for voting on the bill.
The party has always been quick to claim to have middle class origins and that it is against the agenda and dominance of the feudal class. I believe that the provincial assemblies will eventually pass the legislation but the real test for the government will be in the National Assembly.
