LAHORE: This is with regard to your report of November 9 titled “Babar Awan held at gunpoint”.
The VIP culture in this country needs to end. Though I am no fan of Mr Awan I think it is shameful that a soldier should point a gun at a car carrying a minister. If a soldier can do this to a minister's car, one can only imagine what he would do to an ordinary citizen. Shame on us for laughing at the fact that a minister is being stopped by a mere soldier.
