ISLAMABAD: Whenever I travel from Islamabad to my home province, Sindh, I am always shocked to note that the use and disposal of contaminated water is largely unregulated. Owing to a lack of research and proper expertise in this area, the administration does not really know how to go about handling this contaminated mess.
Is there anyone in this country, any water-friendly public sector or private organisation, NGO or INGO, who could take up this issue so that unregulated disposal of contaminated water from hospitals and factories may not wreak havoc on the lives of people in Pakistan?
