Underdevelopment in Turbat

Letter June 19, 2014
I urge the government to solve the problems of Turbat as soon as possible and get the people out of misery.

TURBAT: Turbat is a densely populated city of Balochistan. It is the divisional headquarters of Makran and Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch also belongs to Turbat. In spite of that, the city is so underdeveloped that it seems like an old village. It is completely devoid of any good educational institutions and there is a great shortage of qualified and well-educated teachers. The residents of this area have been demanding educational institutions and well-qualified teachers for a long time but no one has paid any heed to their demands.

Beside this, the roads are in poor state owing to which there are traffic jams frequently.

I urge the government to solve the problems of Turbat as soon as possible and get the people out of misery.

Bahram Syed
