A proper and specialised access to this technology should be given to our children.
KARACHI: Information technology and computer education is what the future of the world depends on. Unfortunately, in our part of the world, there is no emphasis on these aspects of education. Other countries are training their children in technical studies and are facilitating them from the very beginning so that their young generation can compete in this fast-paced era.
But will our children be able to do so too? No. They can’t because they are deprived even of essentials in this world — let alone computer education. Their schools have no digital labs, no specialised teachers and no quality books whatsoever.
This situation is really unfortunate. For the future of our children, computer education is compulsory. A proper and specialised access to this technology should be given to our children. This is a plea to the ministry of education.
