When I returned to Islamabad airport there was chaos from 1.30 am till 5 am.
ISLAMABAD: This is with reference to Javed Chaudhry’s article “A humiliating experience”. The writer should be glad that his celebrity status helps him when in Pakistan. Recently, when I returned to Islamabad airport, three flights had landed from UAE at around the same time and there was chaos from 1.30 am till 5 am. The man in front of me went to the immigration officer and told him that his family had been travelling from Canada and was exhausted and if there was any way to speed up the process to which the officer replied, “Humaray per koi ehsan tau naheen kiya”. The poor guy remained quiet afterwards.
