A restructuring of the Pakistan cricket team is deemed necessary to avoid further humiliation and shame.
CANADA: The defeat of the Pakistan cricket team in T20 World Cup against West Indies was disgusting and regrettable. Failure to recover after opening batsmen Ahmed Shehzad and Kamran Akmal were sent back to the pavilion in the first two overs raises questions about the lack of skill, consistency and confidence of our team and the lack of leadership within it. Mohammad Hafeez has repeatedly failed in his captaincy and needs to be replaced.
In any match, the side that performs better is likely to win, but a supporter of the Pakistan team often has a tendency to proclaim a win in advance, exaggerating the expected performance of the Pakistan team out of proportion.
A restructuring of the Pakistan cricket team is deemed necessary to avoid further humiliation and shame. All appointees of political influence and favouritism must be nullified to rectify the present situation. Indeed, the captaincy of Mohammad Hafeez is a curse and will only add to our failure to achieve victory.
