KARACHI: This is with reference to Raza Rumi’s article “Escaping death in the Land of the Pure” published on March 30. Raza Rumi, like Benazir Bhutto, is the bravest of the brave. Both knew they were targets and both are/were unrelenting in their quest for truth. She couldn’t survive her assailants because of a dictatorial dispensation in the country at that time but let’s hope the democratic set-up in place now and an alert and watchful judiciary will enforce the rule of law in this case.
