ISLAMABAD: Asad Munir in his article “Where did America go wrong?” (October 27) highlights important issues. We blame our intelligence agencies for not providing timely information about suicide bombers and intended terrorist activities.
However, the CIA was not very professional either. It did have some inkling that terrorists could use aircraft as weapons and this, media reports say, it knew as early as 1995. The 9/11 hijackers stayed in the US for almost two years.
