PESHAWAR: This is with reference to the report in your newspaper “Blast at Baba Farid’s shrine kills six” (October 26). It looks like Pakistan is on the brink of a civil war. I don’t know who is responsible for this but extreme measures need to be taken.
The saints, whose shrines are under attack, represent peace, love, respect, tolerance, truth and wisdom. We need to ask ourselves just why the militants are adamant to eradicate these qualities from our society?
