The fact of the matter is that we are the ones who are hypocrites, not Afridi.
KARACHI: This is with reference to your editorial of March 13 titled “Afridi, a misogynist?”. The fact of the matter is that we are the ones who are hypocrites, not Afridi. Till yesterday, he was everyone’s hero and just because he said that women make for very good cooks, everyone is now labelling him a woman-hater.
We need to look at ourselves and our own attitudes towards those of the opposite sex before we sit in on judgment against someone like Afridi.
