Alia Bhatt’s acting was totally unexpected and she completely nailed the role she was assigned.
CHENNAI: This is with reference to the story “Highway: a hard-hitting journey” (February 27). I do not consider myself to be a very emotional person, but I actually cried at the end of the movie Highway. This was one of most well-made Hindi films in recent times.
Alia Bhatt’s acting was totally unexpected and she completely nailed the role she was assigned. Randeep Hooda will surely be nominated (if not win) the National Award for his acting and the director Imtiaz Ali will definitely win the Best Director award next year. Highway was a refreshing change from the crass item song-ridden mindless masala Bollywood cinema.
