After 22 years, with population of Gulshan-e-Maymar increasing manifold, we still have only one mini bus plying.
KARACHI: I have been living in Gulshan-e-Maymar for the last 22 years. When I moved here in 1992, there was only one mini-bus route, N-2, that used to pass through Gulshan-e-Maymar, after every hour. After 22 years, with the population of Gulshan-e-Maymar having increased manifold, we still have only one mini bus, A-25, plying through the area.
For the last 19 years, I have struggled to get more buses to ply through Gulshan-e-Maymar but have still not succeeded because of the shenanigans of the transport mafia. I, therefore, request the chief minister, the transport minister and the secretary labour and transport to look into the matter personally to resolve the transport problems of Gulshan-e-Maymar as soon as possible.
