False bravado or principled stand?

Letter February 15, 2014
Those who haven't sold themselves to cricket boards, media houses, should have protested against ‘Big Three’ proposal.

KARACHI: This is with reference to the story “A show of false bravado: Raja” (February 10). It is a pity that principles are so easily sidelined in the name of ‘pragmatism’. Former cricketers the world over, who have not sold themselves to cricket boards or media houses, should have protested more against the ‘Big Three’ proposal.

The revenue distribution bit in the proposal might have been acceptable but to accept that the ‘Big Three’ remain immune to any degradation of their status and handing them control over everything at the International Cricket Council is insane.
