LAHORE: “Being a Hindu in Pakistan” (October 20) by Marvi Memon is a good article and she should now put her money where her mouth is and support the Hindu community. However, it would be good if our politicians were to stand up for others who are killed for the beliefs – such as Shias. It is indeed very unfortunate that Muslims are killing fellow Muslims and no one says or does anything about it. Of course, this is not to condone the killing of Hindus or to ignore it – but to drive home the point that our society needs to develop tolerance for religious differences.
