Plagiarism

Letter January 31, 2014
It does not explain how the publication over which controversy has arisen came to be included by Dr Laghari in his CV.

CHESAPEAKE, VA, US: This is with reference to Dr Javaid Laghari’s article of January 31 “I am not a plagiarist”. The article is a partial explanation on the part of Dr Laghari in the face of accusations of plagiarism but it does not explain how the publication over which the controversy has arisen came to be included by Dr Laghari in his CV.

In my opinion, this is not an innocent oversight as Dr Laghari puts it, but dishonesty to include articles that include a subject that he did not review. He should apologise for this as a competent and honest scientist. He should also review his CV and remove any additional ‘oversights’.
