Every day, I look at the pollution in the sky, the dusty sunset and think, ‘oh what a mess.’
PESHAWAR: This is with reference to Imtiaz Gul’s article “Peshawar’s governance paralysis” (January 30). I agree with the writer’s account of the state of affairs in Peshawar. The deteriorating situation of the provincial capital saddens me.
I can now hardly remember Peshawar without the barricades and all these security check posts. Every day, I look at the pollution in the sky, the dusty sunset and think, ‘oh what a mess.’ Only through looking at the old pictures of Peshawar do I realise what we have lost. The traffic situation has been worsening by the day. The sad thing is that nobody seems to care. Only the cantonment looks clean and green.
