I wonder if Mr Shafi asked Imran Khan’s permission before sharing his text messages.
LAHORE: This is with reference to Kamran Shafi’s article “Open letter to Imran Khan” (January 17). Isn’t it wrong to make an SMS exchange between two people public in the manner Mr Shafi did? I wonder if Mr Shafi asked Imran Khan’s permission before sharing his text messages, which were meant only for him, and not the world at large.
If Mr Shafi did not ask Imran Khan’s permission for making this SMS exchange public and even if he did so, if Imran Khan did not allow him to make the exchange public, it was highly irresponsible of Mr Shafi to make their communication public.
