Aslam was a fearless man, while DSP Arif Jah Siddiqui, was a very professional and learned police officer.
KARACHI: This is with reference to Aftab Arif Siddiqui’s article of January 12 “In the name of my friend, Chaudhry Aslam”. Chaudhry Aslam was truly a lion-hearted man. I feel honoured by the fact that he served under my command in 1992.
Aslam was a fearless man, while DSP Arif Jah Siddiqui, the writer’s father, was a very professional and learned police officer who groomed Aslam. I must thank Arif for finding and polishing an officer of the calibre of Aslam.
