One is constrained to ask why he failed to act when Sindh Assembly grounds were used last year to hold a wedding.

KARACHI: This is with reference to a report which had said that the Sindh Assembly speaker had suspended five security personnel, including the building’s chief security officer, because of their failure to prevent graffiti inside the Sindh Assembly building. The speaker had stated that the incident had violated the sanctity of the elected legislature of Sindh.

One is constrained to ask why he failed to act when the grounds of the Sindh Assembly were used in November last year to hold a wedding ceremony. Did the holding of that marriage ceremony not violate the sanctity of the house as well?
