LAHORE: The Supreme Court’s judgment on the Eighteenth Amendment is a very balanced and wise verdict. The judiciary has the right to interpret the Constitution which it has done and has not tried to unilaterally strike down the amendment. It has recognised the right of parliament to legislate.
