After scoring second triple century of his career, he has done what legends were not able to achieve.
KARACHI: Pakistan’s discarded left-handed opening batsman Imran Farhat scored the second triple century of his first class career. The 31-year-old Farhat, who has been widely criticised for having been given a lot of chances at the international level, without really coming good, matched the feat of the Pakistani batting legend Hanif Mohammad, of scoring two triple centuries.
It is true that Farhat has not performed consistently at the international level, but after scoring the second triple century of his career, he has done what legends like Inzamamul Haq, Javed Miandad, Zaheer Abbas and Mohammad Yousuf were not able to achieve. Therefore, he must be appreciated for this and the Pakistan Cricket Board should announce an award for Farhat.
