I wonder when I will get the services I pay for in this country.
ISLAMABAD: I am a resident of F-11/1 Islamabad. Unfortunately, over the past few days, the gas pressure that we have been receiving at our home has dropped to such an extent that no heated water is available and no cooking can be done. The temperatures have dropped considerably and I have to watch my parents, who are senior citizens, suffer. The adjacent buildings next to my compound are receiving gas with adequate pressure. I have complained multiple times to the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) on 1199 (complaint number 4887550532) and despite promises that a SNGPL team would be sent to check the problem, nothing has happened, nor has any team contacted me. I have also complained to the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority on its email address in the prescribed format, but I have yet to hear anything from it as well.
I am an honest taxpayer, regularly filing my tax returns and paying all bills within the due dates. My SNGPL bills have included an amount called additional security shortfall, which has been paid as well. I wonder when I will get the services I pay for in this country. Or should I migrate to other countries just like my friends?
