The dark night which gripped the state of Pakistan in the General Zia era has continued till today.
JUBAIL, SAUDI ARABIA: January 4 marked the third death anniversary of Salmaan Taseer, a brave Pakistani leader who sacrificed his life for a poor woman. The Punjab governor was gunned down in broad daylight by his own security guard. Later, the killer was garlanded by the very people supposed to be standing by the law — the lawyers of Rawalpindi — when he was produced in a court to face murder charges.
The dark night which gripped the state of Pakistan in the General Zia era has continued till today and there is no light at the end of the tunnel.
