NIDERRAU, GERMANY: The questions raised by Ejaz Haider in his article “Isloo slapstick” (October 18) are all pertinent. I think the reason why things are where they are and why we never seem to learn is because we lack the ability to draw conclusions and foresee outcomes. In other words, we lack common sense.
