As a nation, we need to understand that if we want to protect our sovereignty, we need to build this country.
KARACHI: This is with reference to Ayesha Ijaz Khan’s piece of December 1 “Private lives and public figures”. This is a very well-written and thought-provoking article. As a nation, we need to understand that if we want to protect our sovereignty and get the respect of others, we need to build this country. Otherwise, we will only have double standards as Ms Khan aptly points out. I admire both Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Imran Khan but they made a choice for the better future of their children, which seems to be rather in contrast with their political point of view.
