Well done team Pakistan and coach Whatmore!
KARACHI: This is with reference to the story “2nd ODI: Pakistan clinch series with thrilling one-run victory” (November 27). This was indeed a great win for Pakistan. I wonder where the self-promoting ex-cricketers are now, who never miss an opportunity to criticise the coach and team management?
I am sure Mohsin Khan, Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Yousuf will find a way to complain about the series win against South Africa as well, and try their best to make sure Dav Whatmore and Misbahul Haq do not get the credit they deserve. It is a shame to see ex-cricketers criticise the team the way they do. It seems as if they are only looking for jobs in the Pakistan Cricket Board, and hence do not have much credibility.
Well done team Pakistan and coach Whatmore!
