Speaking on radio

Letter October 16, 2010
I am in complete agreement with Awais ‘Wes’ Malik in his article “On radio, you are what you speak”.

KARACHI: I am in complete agreement with Awais ‘Wes’ Malik in his article “On radio, you are what you speak” (October 13). It seems easier to make fun of people and ridicule them when they are not actually in front of you. This obviously has to do with the anonymity – and safety – that technology provides to its users. However, this also means that it’s easier to get carried away in the moment because we cannot see how the person is reacting to our statements.
