Those who kill innocent people must be dealt with severely like criminals.
NIDDERAU GERMANY: This is with reference to the editorial “Flight of credibility” (November 22). This is a well-written editorial. In the 1970s, there was a group in Germany called Baader Meinhof, which terrorised German society. The group consisted of young people trying to dismantle the democratic set-up of Germany. They killed and kidnapped many people but never did the German government start any sort of negotiations with them. Those who kill, for whatever purpose, must be caught and eliminated. In the end, Germany arrested many and the movement died out within a few years.
That is what Pakistan must do. Those who kill innocent people must be dealt with severely like criminals. They are not our brothers, as some leaders would have us believe. There should be no let up until they give up these evil acts.
