Ziaudidn University is currently developing an online course on Home Care for medical graduates.
ZIAUDDIN UNIVERSITY, KARACHI: This is with reference to Juggun Kazim’s article “Trophy wives” (November 11). The issue of a large number of female (and some male) medical graduates opting out of the profession has been a subject of discussion at many fora and for many years.
At the Ziaudidn University, we are currently developing an online course on Home Care for medical graduates, which can be taken on home TV. This has become possible with recent developments in information technology. Hopefully, this will bring in a large number of medical graduates, currently not practising, into the health care workforce.
