LAHORE: The events of the past 24-48 hours suggest quite clearly that the rift between the judiciary and government is continuing while the issue of governance is being ignored. It seems both the executive and the judiciary are interested in protecting their own interests and they don’t realise or don’t seem bothered that this is coming at the expense of the administration and dispensation of justice.
