Adnan Sami needs to live in Pakistan more to know what is going on in the country.
KARACHI: This is with reference to the news story “Pakistan is not a country for artistes, says Adnan Sami” (November 7). Mehdi Hasan was financially supported by the Pakistani government. All his medical bills were paid by the Punjab government. In 1996, when Reshma was first diagnosed with early stage throat cancer, Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital did not charge her a single penny and this is a fact on record. Maybe, Adnan Sami needs to live in Pakistan more to know what is going on in the country rather than seemingly getting his news from the biased Indian media.
