We have faith in neither Obama Administration nor Pakistan govt, when it comes to curbing drone attacks.
LAHORE: This is with reference to the news story “‘What did my grandmother do wrong?’” (October 30). At this moment, we have faith in neither the Obama Administration nor the Pakistani government, when it comes to the curtailing of drone attacks. Drones are part of a completely counterproductive strategy that breeds more terrorism; they must be condemned and they must be stopped.
After severe disappointment from my own country’s media in this regard, I have nothing but well wishes for Amnesty International and the team that made the documentary on drones. I hope that because of all this, the people of the world would see the human side of this conundrum, even if the governments do not.
