OXFORD, UK: With reference to your editorial “The Balochistan conundrum” (October 29), I cannot help but wonder whether Balochistan’s coalition Chief Minister, Dr Abdul Malik Baloch, enjoys any real power?
Before unfolding his own peace plan, Dr Malik has to tell the people why in the last ten years, all presidents, prime ministers, and various national and Balochistan parliamentary committees failed in their efforts to bring about peace in the turbulent province. And how is Dr Malik different from them?
