Now our beautiful country has been completely transformed and is a shadow of its former self, which is a pity indeed.
ATLANTA, GA, USA: This is with reference to Priyanka Rajani’s article “Oh, look, a Pakistani Hindu …” (October 29). Ms Rajani has reminded me of a beautiful Pakistan that existed before this place was hit by the maladies she has mentioned in her article. There was peace, a feeling of fellowship among the citizenry, a sense of responsibility and tolerance for diversity. Now our beautiful country has been completely transformed and is a shadow of its former self, which is a pity indeed.
