Attack on the soul of Karachi

Letter October 12, 2010
The writer makes a valid point when she says that people from all sects converge at the shrine of Abdullah Shah Ghazi.

KARACHI: This is with reference to the article “An attack on the soul of Karachi” by Sascha Akhtar (October 9). The writer makes a valid point when she says that people from all sects converge at the shrine of Abdullah Shah Ghazi. I am unable to grasp whether it is really part of sectarian violence because the pattern seems to be the same as was in Iraq — attacking the symbols of spiritualism.
