FAISALABAD: This is with reference to a report in your newspaper titled “General Kayani orders inquiry into controversial video” (October 8). The inquiry is welcome and we need to ensure that if found guilty, action will be taken against those involved in the shootings. The inquiry should not be done at the behest of any foreign power — rather it should be conducted because it is a noble end in itself. The height of violence being reached must be curbed and peace must prevail for our country to progress.
