Other than the doings of the government of the day, one other external factor that creates problems for people in this country is terrorism and the fact that bombings happen almost on a daily basis. This drives away foreign investment and even makes local investors think twice before putting their funds in for a project. This in turn has a negative macroeconomic impact in that people lose jobs or enough jobs are not created.
