JAKARTA: This is with reference to Kamal Siddiqi’s article “Innings played well” (September 2). I believe credit must go to President Asif Ali Zardari for sustaining democracy in whatever fragile form it remained, during his tenure. This is no mean achievement in a country which is prone to coups and many external factors trying to destabilise the government.
