CHARSADDA: The other day, I happened to read a news item that the Charsadda Health Department had carried out a fumigation spray in the town. The fact is that this is simply not correct and it seems that the municipal authorities have missed out many areas where such a spray is direly needed. For instance, in the area where I live, Garhi Hameed Gul Mian, the spraying was done in only a limited area, comprising a few houses.
Now that the province of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa is being run by the PTI, it should be ensured that all areas of cities and towns are treated in the same manner, especially those where people who are not that financially and/or socially well-off live.
