KARACHI: According to a news item, a bank branch located in PECHS, Karachi, was robbed by the same gang twice in six months. According to the area police, since the locality is infested with criminals, they had advised the bank management to shift the branch to a safer location.
In any other country, the police would have cleared the locality by arresting the dacoits, but this being Pakistan, they dare not do so. By the same logic, since there is rampant crime in the whole city, the 20 million residents of Karachi should be shifted to other cities.
