Supporting terrorists

Letter July 24, 2013
It’s not just Malala. Their whole approach to terrorism is sympathetic to the terrorists and religious bigots.

KHYBER-PAKHTUNKHWA: The self-styled Left is following the principle of “enemy of the enemy is a friend’. So, anyone fighting against the United Sates must be good, even if they kill, murder ordinary people, deny education to girls from far away, forcefully try to reverse even a little social liberalisation and the progress of people they don’t have any connection with. It’s not just Malala. Their whole approach to terrorism is sympathetic to the terrorists and religious bigots, rather than the victimised people.

In my opinion, there is nothing Left in supporting al Qaeda or the Taliban. And, interestingly, they mostly oppose the Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, Jaish-e-Mohammad, etc. They probably believe that such organisations may reach the comfort of their lives in Karachi or Lahore.
