LAHORE: This is with reference to Usman Chatta’s article of July 18 titled “What happened to me when I landed in Israel”. Instead of complaining about his treatment by Israeli authorities at Ben Gurion Airport, the writer should have tried to see the matter from Israel’s perspective. Agreed, he has a British passport but he is of Pakistani origin and that may have been the reason for the extra caution showed by the Israeli authorities upon his arrival.
