The military, loyal to its old friend, the US, didn’t let the people live by their choice and freedom.
KARACHI: We all witnessed and saw Egypt being thrown into the Dark Ages again — the ouster of an elected government after a prolonged era of dictatorship and turmoil. But alas! The military, loyal to its old friend, the US, didn’t let the people live by their choice and freedom. Why ? Because the Muslim Brotherhood talked of Muslim unity and was able to revive democracy in Egypt. These are the questions the entire Muslim Ummah and the “unbiased” international and national media should ponder open.
