Imran Khan and the Bihar model

Letter June 15, 2013
Imran Khan’s party formed government in K-P but I suspect he is still short of people who have requisite experience.

KUWAIT: This is with reference to Ali Sarwar Naqvi’s article of June 13 titled “Imran Khan and the Bihar model”. I wonder why and how Imran Khan’s party could not sweep the election and why Imran lost the chance to be prime minister. Had that happened, things might have been very different now.

As for Nawaz Sharif, I hope and pray that he delivers what he has promised. So far, the budget has not earned much applause from the general public. Imran Khan’s party has formed a government in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa but I suspect that he is still short of people who have the requisite experience for good governance. I hope that by the time of the next election, this deficiency will no longer be there.
